Psychoanalyst

Susanne enjoys working with seasoned leaders and new managers around issues of interpersonal communication, relationship management and the expansion of existing skills and talents into new and broader roles.  She was trained as an Executive Leadership coach at the Zicklin School of Management’s I Coach Program at Baruch College in New York City.

 

Susanne Weil received her BA from Boston University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College. She was trained as a psychoanalyst at the Training and Research Institute for Self Psychology in New York City.

In addition to teaching and supervising students, she has also presented numerous papers at professional conferences both in the U.S. and around the world.  She is the recipient of the prestigious Gradiva Award from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis (NAAP).

Susanne is a member of the International Association of Psychoanalytic Psychology (IAPSP), the Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work (AAPCSW) and is currently on the board of Connecticut Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (CSPP), the Division 39 chapter of the APA.
